30 awardees will benefit from a $750 tuition reduction for the Practical Certificate in IECMHC's October Cohort. From Georgetown's Center of Excellence for IECMHC and Attunify, Inc.
IECMHC is the most effective intervention in early childhood that not enough communities are benefiting from because of a shortage in consultation workforce.
Our Practical Certificate in IECMHC was created to help close this gap; enabling programs to build consultation skills in-house among existing staff. 261 people started this training with us in June.
But in the current economic and funding environment, consultation may remain out of reach for those who need it most.
The IECMHC Impact Award makes IECMHC skills even more accessible. 30 awardees will benefit from a $750 tuition reduction for the Practical Certificate in IECMHC's October Cohort.
The award is merit based. We want to know about the community you serve and how you'll use your newly gained IECMHC skills to support children, families and staff. This is about the work and its impact.
The application is a short section of the sign-up form: two quick questions.
Choose Individual, say yes to being considered for the Impact Award, and tell us about how IECMHC could benefit the community you serve.
Applications are reviewed as they arrive. Apply by September 21. Decisions for the October cohort go out by email by September 25.
The $750 reduction is applied to your invoice. You pay $2,250 for the full 12 months of the program, or 12 monthly installments of less than $190 a month.
The award is merit based. We want to know about the community you serve and how you'll use your newly gained IECMHC skills to support children, families and staff.
Where do you work, who do you serve, and what's happening for the children, families and staff there that consultation would change?
What will you do differently once you're trained?
We don't ask about your finances or your background. You can also choose to let us share your story, without your name or with it. That choice has no bearing on the award.
The Practical Certificate in IECMHC has two phases. Both are included.
1 to 2 hours per week self-paced, plus a weekly 90-minute live class with up to 24 candidates per instructor.
Monthly group supervision with a licensed clinician. Keeps non-licensed consultants compliant with Head Start performance standards while those standards remain in place.
Full program details, dates, live class times, and modules are on the Attunify home page.

The award may be combined with the 12-month installment plan, which comes to less than $190 a month, or any other payment plan Attunify offers at enrollment. It may not be combined with organizational multi-seat pricing or any other reduction.
The award is personal to the recipient and the cohort named in the application. It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or applied to any other program.
If you withdraw before the cohort starts, the award ends. If Attunify agrees to move you to a later cohort, it may apply the award to that cohort at its discretion.
Recipients may choose to be featured in Center of Excellence and Attunify research and publications about the impact of consultation, either without their name or, if they agree to an interview, with it. This is voluntary. It has no bearing on selection and it is not a condition of the award. Anyone featured will be identified as an Impact Award recipient. Permission can be withdrawn at any time in writing.
